“OMG, my kid says the funniest thing!”

“Oh, you’ll love this! My kid started saying ‘ball’, but it sounds like ‘baw’... you know, with a W at the end because she can’t make the L sound yet.  We know she’ll grow out of it, but a small part of me hopes she’ll just say it forever! It cracks me up every time, isn’t that so funny?”

 KIDS are funny, (and if we’re really being honest, even they need to work on their act sometimes). But parents, not so much… If you’ve had enough of these conversations you know that when you hear those magic words it’s time to run away. So, with that in mind this one’s for you... 

My kids love to read books out loud. Sometimes they’ll say the same parts of a book over and over as they read through all the pages, no matter what is happening on each page. One of mine likes to read Biscuit the dog books. So the other day she was reading to me, and you can tell she really liked to focus on how Biscuit and a little duck talk back and forth, but then out of nowhere Biscuit finds a real S.O.B…
